Greg's Life and The Light

Posted by: Farrah

I don’t know when Greg is going to post, and seeing as I don’t keep up my own blog anymore, I thought I'd come write one for him. Makes perfect sense! But first, I’ll give an update on his life. Maybe we’ll hear from him in the comments? :-)

Praise God, he likes his new job! The down side is that he has less free time. There are a variety of reasons for this: more driving, more hours, less flexibility.

He created a program for our homeschool co-op last year and has slowly been adding new features and making improvements. Since we are about to start back up, he’s been working on that and other related tasks. He taught LEGO classes four times this summer, we began attending a church, and then there are the needs of his family . . . yes that's me! And Sonshine! And relatives!

Now for a quick praise report from last week: we were driving along in late day, when the sky before us showed several brilliant streaks of light bursting through the clouds. At exactly the same time, this song came on the radio. As always, God's timing is perfect.

He lights up my sky.

Why is the video too wide? That's not usually a problem! How annoying!

Farrah,

I'm so glad the job situation has worked out for Greg.I know how being in that work-a-day world can eat away the time to many other things.

I haven't written anything in my "Night Writing in the Morning Light" for quiet a while myself. Things have been a bit rough this year for one and I felt I was becoming a little burned out or stressed. For I while I kind of dropped out of everything and more recently I have been writing a more traditional, "here is what I did today" kind of Blog. It's a kind of therapy, I guess.

I expect to get back to "Night Writing" eventually this year and I definitely want to go on with my "Harmony."

God Bless.

Ahh Farrah - glad to see you posting and happy to hear that all is well on your end!

I love The Afters!! My Sweet Hubby and I were on a cruise with them a few years ago and talk about fantastic voices...I was a fan before that, but they just totally blew me away *live*...That is one group that does NOT need any help whatsoever in the studio - their voices are PERFECT!!

I hope you all have a blessed week!

Thank you for dropping by, Larry! I'm sorry to hear things have been a bit rough this year. I've had those kind of years, too. They weren't fun, but it seemed like they were huge growing periods spiritually. I'll say a special prayer for you tonight. :-)

Hi there, Gigi! Thank you for the tip about hearing the Afters live!! Good to know, since some artists aren't all that smashing in concert. We'll have to keep our eyes and ears open in case they come near us. :-)

Dude! I ain't got TIME to comment!!! ;)

Thank you, Wifey, for watching out for me. I'm sorry that I've been away for so long, with hardly a word. Just been very busy and had my mind occupied with other duties and projects. I am actually feeling inspired to write a few posts again, so stay tuned.
